# Inspiration

The following is a big inspiration for why Downflow was made. I kept hitting this same problem.

I had "server rendered HTML" (sometimes even just plain static HTML) and I wanted to add just a dash of reactivity to it, without opting into an entire toolchain, or having to change the entire way I render HTML. Hence, downflow was born, and big thanks to Lea for the kick in the butt to get started on it.
